After the first ten years of my childhood living in a quaint suburb of Salt Lake City, my parents decided that "Keeping up with the Joneses", was no longer part of the family plan. Risking our rather comfortable lifestyle, my family moved (pets included) to Costa Rica to run a fly-tying factory near San Jose, the capital.

This move has been one of the biggest influences on my life. My senses were opened up to the beauty and horridness that the world can induce. Traveling from the pristine high mountain cloud forest to the chaotic hustle and bustle of downtown San Jose was a frequent ritual in my family. The four years that I lived in Central America sparked my desire to observe the simple and profound wonders of the world.

I have been fortunate to travel as far north as the tundra of the Yukon Territory, and south to the Andes in South America. In between I have explored the depths of some of the densest cities in Americas (north & south) as well as surveyed the breadth of space in the most rural parts of the lower 48 states. I hope the images that I have captured during my travels entice you, the viewer to go seek out their own wonders of the world.

Since the beginnings of my exploration into the art of photography, I have grown to see the world through many different angles. I feel these perspectives play very important part of my character. As I capture the best possible frame through different angles, I have learned that this technique can, and should be, applied to life's challenges beyond the camera lens. The way a person overcomes these challenges is the key to their happiness and successes.
